What kind of music will be played at prom?
All kinds, including group dances emceed by our professional DJs. They encourage even our youngest attendees to the dance floor.
Most importantly, the dance will be given it's shape by prom-attendees who register up to one month before. (Yet another reason to register now!) You can make a 5 dance-music request on the registration form. From the attendees most requested favorites, the prom's music will begin to take it's shape.
Music for the prom will be provided by the professional DJ services of Sound Explosions. They will be providing us with a light show and promise to keep everyone dancing.
How Long is the prom?
Four hours, from 8pm to midnight.
When can my parents, family and friends enter the ballroom on prom night?
Parents can come in for 10 minutes at the very beginning of the prom for photos.

There will be an elegant arch for those attendees who want a staged portrait taken by one of the chaperones. Chaperones will be taking candid shots throughout the night. Both candids and portraits will be available online a few weeks after the prom. Feel free to bring your own camera.

There will be appetizers, salads, a buffet dinner, sodas, topped off by a Venetian Table and a chocolate fountain with fresh fruits for dipping. You can view the planned menu at the Prom Food link.

If you are over 18, you may leave, but will only be allowed back into the prom at the discretion of the chaperones.
If you are under 18, you may leave ONLY if your parent/guardian informs the committee, prior to prom night, that you have their permission to leave early.
Do most teens come by themselves, in groups, or with an escort/date?
Homeschoolers attend the prom by themselves, in groups, with siblings or with a date. It's a fantastic night to make new friends.
Where can my family stay for the night or the weekend?
Here are a few motels and resorts in Point Pleasant Beach where families can hang out with other families while the teens dance the night away.
We have reserved a block of 15 rooms at the Sand Pebble Motor Lodge (two blocks away from The White Sands) for Prom guests and their families. The rooms are $89 each (two double beds in each room). They will hold the rooms until April 10. If you are interested, call up and reserve your own room from this block.
